Welcome to Beach Goes Pops 2013

Friday, May 3rd, 2013 and Saturday, May 4th, 2013 in beautiful and historical Pass-a-Grille, Florida.

St. Pete Beach, FL, March 12, 2013 – The Beach Goes Pops Committee is pleased to announce the dates for this year’s Beach Goes Pops be held on Friday, May 3rdand Saturday, May 4th, 2013 in historic and picturesque Pass-A-Grille, Florida. Beach Goes Pops, now in its 23nd year, is very proud to offer yet another exciting year of outstanding music, food and fellowship.

Beach Goes Pops is the result of the combined efforts of The City of St. Pete Beach, the Pass-A-Grille Community & Vina Del Mar Island Associations and the 150 plus volunteers who coordinate and help to produce two (2) spectacular nights of FREE concerts on beautiful and historic Pass-A-Grille Beach in St. Pete Beach, FL. We especially appreciate and thank our major sponsors this year, the City of St. Pete Beach and our presenting sponsor, Bright House Networks.

On Friday, May 3rd we’ll have live music, food and beverages from 4:00 pm until approximately 10:30 pm as we welcome some of the best local performing bands for your musical entertainment.

Located on Pass-A-Grille Beach at 9th Avenue and Gulf Way in St. Pete Beach.
Vendor booths will be selling food and beverages (soft drinks, water, beer and wine) to the public, opening at 4:00 pm.
Danfield, a popular local band will kick off the entertainment Friday afternoon.
The Hip Abduction, a crowd favorite, returning for the third year will follow starting about 5:30 pm.
New this year, we welcome The Flats to our Friday night music line up from 8:00 pm till 10:30 pm.
Additional parking and shuttle service will be available from 4:00 pm till 11:00 pm at the County Beach Park across from the Dolphin Village Shopping Center at 4600 Gulf Boulevard.
“Art in the Park” returns again with local artist selling arts and crafts from 12:00 pm until twilight.
Bring your blankets, beach chairs, friends and family.
This is an all age, family friendly, fun, free afternoon and evening in an ideal beach setting with three live bands!

On Saturday, May 4th, our event starts at 4:00 pm with music, food and beverages until 10:00 pm. We are happy to announce and welcome Late Night Brass with their high energy, big band, jazz sound for a memorable evening of Beach Goes Pops music starting at approximately 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm.

30 + stage side tables sold in advance for Saturday's catered dinner by Orange Blossom Catering.
The tables and seats sold are directly in front of the stage for the Saturday evening performance that including a fabulously catered four-course gourmet dinner by Orange Blossom Catering including unlimited beer, wine and champagne.
Late Night Brass headlines our Beach Goes Pops musical entertainment on Saturday with what promises to be an outstanding night of music starting at 7:30 pm and performing till10:00 pm.
